Beautiful Boy: An Imperfect Drama

Beautiful Boy

Starring Timothee Chalamet, Steve Carell

Beautiful Boy: 5/5 ⭐️
This drama proudly sits on my favorites list as one of the most impactful films I’ve ever experienced: not because of its cinematography or writing (which is usually the case), but rather, the rawness of actors Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet’s performances.

This brilliant piece is simplistic and resonant of childhood in the best way. It leaves viewers with a new perspective on the complexities of fatherhood, depression, and addiction that can only be shared through the magnificent art form of film.

Most notably, Beautiful Boy is physical proof that Steve Carell is PAINFULLY underrated and I sincerely recommend that you guys watch all the movies in his filmography— from the melancholy all the way to the comical!

Which do you prefer: the Beautiful Boy song or movie?
