The Tick, Tick… Boom! star himself, Andrew Garfield, delivered an expected, yet equally extraordinary performance of the beloved American hero, and his film is the best in terms of showcasing Spidey’s superhuman abilities. Nevertheless, many critics complain that Garfield’s take on the lonesome teen was too “Hollywood” and strayed away from the quirky nature of the comics.

Tom Holland

Last but certainly not least is Disney posterchild Tom Holland, who delivered a groundbreaking performance as the high schooler-turned-hero in the Home Trilogy. Holland brings a sense of nostalgia and justice to the character that no other actor could, not to mention also breaking decade-long records for the Marvel Studios at the mere age of 26.
